The acid etch process reveals the contrast between the two steels — the nickel turns satin, the high carbon turns dark gray, and the layered pattern becomes visible across the blade face. Each knife comes out with a slightly different pattern since every one is hand forged individually. The walnut wood handle is high polished and runs full tang — the steel extends the full length of the handle with no hidden joints. The cowhide leather sheath is fitted for this knife.
