The Damascus Blade

The 9-inch blade is hand-forged from 1095HC high-carbon steel and 15N20 nickel steel, producing a 384-layer billet with a bold wave Damascus pattern running the full blade length. Oil tempered to 58–60 HRC and hand-sharpened to a precise 20-degree edge angle. The Damascus guard transitions naturally from blade steel to handle, creating a visually unified full-Damascus-to-handle flow. Wood & Bone Handle

The handle combines dark wood and natural stag bone sections divided by bold red spacer rings. The contrast between the dark wood, cream-toned bone, and vivid red rings gives the HS-883 a layered, distinctive handle profile that stands apart from single-material handles. The Damascus guard with its decorative notch anchors the handle at the blade end. Full tang construction runs the complete handle length.

Tooled Leather Sheath

A hand-tooled dark maroon leather sheath is included with every HS-883. The decorative tooling on the sheath exterior adds a premium handcrafted detail that complements the knife's overall character.
