This bull cutter knife is hand-forged from real rasp file steel — a high-carbon tool steel with a natural diamond-pattern texture that no factory blade can replicate. Paired with a crushed turquoise mosaic and dark hardwood handle, it's a one-of-a-kind fixed blade that ships with a hand-stitched embossed leather sheath, ready for the belt or the display shelf.

Handmade Craftsmanship

Every knife that leaves our shop is made entirely by hand. No CNC machines, no laser cutting, no production line. The rasp file steel is sourced, heated in a forge, hammered into shape, and ground by a skilled bladesmith. The handle scales are fitted, pinned, and finished by hand. The sheath is cut and stitched by hand. From raw material to finished piece, this knife is entirely human-made — and it shows.

Knife Care Instructions

  • Blade: Wipe dry after use. Apply a light coat of food-grade mineral oil to prevent rust. High-carbon steel develops a natural patina over time — this is normal.
  • Handle: Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Condition the wood section occasionally with linseed oil.
  • Sheath: Condition with leather balm or neatsfoot oil. Store knife in sheath when not in use.
  • Storage: Keep in a dry location. Do not store long-term in a damp sheath.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is the blade actually made from a rasp file?
A: Yes. The blade is hand-forged from real rasp file steel. The diamond texture on the blade is the original file pattern, retained through the forging process.

Q: Is the turquoise genuine?
A: The handle uses crushed turquoise mosaic set in resin — a stabilized form of genuine turquoise that is far more durable than solid stone for handle use.

Q: Does it arrive sharp?
A: Yes. Every knife is hand-sharpened before it ships and arrives ready to use.

Q: Will my knife look exactly like the photos?
A: Each knife is handmade individually. The turquoise pattern, wood grain, and blade finish will vary slightly — you will receive the exact knife shown in the listing photos.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Yes, we ship worldwide. Delivery times and customs duties vary by destination country.
